Each diver has a diver instructor who is his/her mentor. Come to meet our excellent instruction team so you can keep in touch and mainly because Manta is our home away from home.

Name: Boaz Samurai.
Diving Level: PADI Course Director.
Underwater seniority: I dive since I could start diving.
I dive because: I always lived by the sea, in fact I actually lived in it. That's my home.
Outside the water: Most of my hobbies are related to the sea. Besides diving I like to surf, sail, hike and go on safaris. I also really love to take photos – above sea and underwater.
Favorite diving site in Israel: I really love diving around the southern nature reserve area in Eilat - a virginal and preserved area with plenty of corals and creatures.
Favorite diving site in the world: my favorite site is at the Seychelles Islands, where I worked as a diving instructor. My favorite site over there is called “Aldabra“. I also hope to dive in other places in the world such as South Africa, Mozambique, Micronesia and the Galapagos.
If I were not a dive instructor: I would have been unemployed.
What do you love mostly about diving instruction and diving in general? I really love to help people find diving as a new hobby that will get them closer to nature and moreover closer to each other. This is an easy hobby, regardless of age, sex or even physical strength, therefore its fine for everyone.
My life motto: “You only live once, so make the most of it”.

Diving Level: PADI dive instructor and courses instructor.
Underwater seniority: I have already been diving for 25 and instructing for 16 years.
I dive because: I always lived by the sea, in fact I actually lived in it. That's my home.
Outside the water: My other profession is being a lifeguard but I also really enjoy snorkeling (which is still in the water) and I really enjoy taking off-road jeep trips.
Favorite diving site in Israel: I really love diving here in our Coral Beach Nature Reserve.
Favorite diving site in the world: my world's favorite site is actually not far from here – Ras Muhammad in Sinai; the divers “Mecca”. In the future I also wish to go to Palau, the Maldives and to Bonaire.
If I were not a dive instructor: Then I would have worked as a tour guide.
What do you love mostly about diving instruction and diving in general? The most enjoyable part of the work is to teach people (both new and experienced divers) something new. Things they have never done or never knew how to do until today.
My life motto:  I always teach my trainees to enjoy their dives: “the slower you swim the more you see”. That is my main motto, though I have other favorite phrases I always share with my trainees such as: “If it's clear, you are a champ. If it's yellow drink some more”. And particularly for Mediterranean dives: “ A mask [placed] on the forehead' will not stay there long, a big wave will  come and sweep it along”.
