Luxury Accommodations in the Heritage Buildings

  • For an epic journey back in time, choose the lavish and intimate Colony Rooms within the Orient Jerusalem's two Heritage Buildings. The Templers founded the German Colony in 1868, and built both of these structures in the 1880s to serve as their school. Constructed according to the finest Templer traditions, the two buildings currently house the hotel's exceptionally luxurious set of rooms, the 39 Colony Rooms. These two Heritage Buildings have been lovingly and meticulously restored, from the high ceilings to the distinctive architecture, and include painted tiled floors, Jerusalem-style vaulted windows, and specially-commissioned vintage furniture.

Both Heritage Buildings provide guests with an extraordinarily indulgent experience in a historic atmosphere. Guests of the Heritage Buildings enjoy unique benefits, including personal valet service from the moment of arrival, express check in/check out, a special gift from the chef, daily newspaper delivered to the room, free entrance to the exclusive 8th floor lounge (in the main hotel building), welcome cocktail in the room or at the Khan restaurant, tour of Jerusalem, and bicycles available for complimentary use
