Day 1: Discover the Vibrant City of Tel Aviv

Landing into Ben Gurion, Israel’s main international airport, your journey begins in Tel Aviv, a city that exudes energy and innovation.

Spend your first day immersing yourself in the city's vibrant culture, enjoying Tel Aviv’s beautiful beaches and exploring historic sites and other attractions. At the heart of Tel Aviv, you'll find the Carmel Market, a bustling hub where locals and tourists alike come to enjoy a taste of Israel's rich culinary traditions and experience a truly Middle Eastern “shuk” environment.

Day 2: Experience the Old-World Charm of Jaffa

Just a stone's throw away, the Old Jaffa Port awaits, a mesmerizing testament to the city's ancient roots. As the sun sets, the city transforms into a hub of entertainment, offering an incredible nightlife that caters to all tastes. From trendy bars to world-class restaurants, there's something for everyone in this old port city, adjacent to Tel Aviv.

We suggest checking out a range of Isrotel’s luxury hotels in Tel Aviv to really complement your stay. Whether you're looking for a spa vacation, to be in the middle of the action, or are in Israel on a business trip or a family vacation, Isrotel’s range of Tel Aviv hotels has everything you need for the perfect 7 days in Israel itinerary.

Day 3: Jerusalem – A City of Culture and History

From the modernity of Tel Aviv, journey into the past with a visit to Jerusalem. This ancient city is a living museum, where every stone and street tells a story. Spend a day or two exploring the Old City of Jerusalem, with its labyrinthine streets and significant religious sites. The Western Wall, a significant Jewish holy site, is an absolute must-see, as is the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, revered by Christians the world over.

When you're ready for a break from sightseeing, lose yourself in the vibrant Mahane Yehuda Market, where you can sample local delicacies or shop for unique local souvenirs. As with Tel Aviv, Jerusalem boasts a vibrant nightlife, but we think it's the restaurants in Jerusalem that really deserve your attention! With kosher food for all tastes, budgets and requirements, we think you'll be pleasantly surprised by what you find on offer.

We suggest continuing your pampering hotel stays at Isrotel’s luxury hotels in Jerusalem. With two breathtaking options, including a hotel situated in its own vineyard and another with its own historically-restored facade, you'll emerge refreshed and ready to continue on your 7-days in Israel itinerary!

Days 4: The Dead Sea and Ramon Crater

Having soaked in the urban energy of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, it's time to set your sights on Israel's natural wonders.

Venture into the great outdoors and experience the stark beauty of the desert and the Ramon Crater, a landscape that tells a story of survival and resilience.

For an unforgettable adventure, make your way to Masada, an ancient fortress perched atop a rocky plateau. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers breathtaking views of the Dead Sea (the lowest place on Earth) and the surrounding desert, making it a highlight of any Israel itinerary.

After exploring Masada, take the time to relax and rejuvenate at the Dead Sea. Known for its therapeutic properties, the mineral-rich waters of the Dead Sea offer a unique floating experience, while its mud is renowned for its skincare benefits.

Experience the Dead Sea for yourself, and the nearby breathtaking Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. It's then time to continue relaxing at our selection of the best hotels near the Dead Sea.

    Day 5: Eilat

Eilat, the southernmost city in Israel, is a true oasis in the desert. Bordering Jordan and Egypt (and a great place to cross the border for both countries), Eilat is a picturesque beauty with some of the best beachside hotels  in the country. Nestled between the rugged mountains of the Negev and the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea, it's also the perfect destination for sun, sea and underwater adventures. Eilat’s beaches  are widely known to be among some of the clearest in Israel, while Eilat’s dolphin reef  (where you can go diving with dolphins) and underwater observatory provide fun for the entire family.

We recommend checking out things to do in Eilat before visiting, as some advanced booking may be required.

    Day 6: The Arava Desert

A short drive from Eilat lies the sublime expanse of the Arava desert. This stark, sun-soaked landscape is simply full of unexpected beauty and hidden gems around every corner. However the most exciting of all has to be Timna Park.

With bizarre and awe-inspiring rock formations and the preserved remains of ancient civilizations, it really has to be seen to be believed. The park's centerpiece, Solomon's Pillars, is an impressive rock formation formed from hundreds of thousands of years of erosion. You can explore the park's trails by foot, by bike, or on a jeep tour, and discover relics of copper mining that date back thousands of years, underscoring the region's rich history.

Best of all is the Hidden Lake….in the middle of a desert! We recommend taking a boat ride, but remember to take your sunscreen, a hat, and enough water to keep you hydrated!

    Day 7: The North

Israel’s North is practically the polar opposite to the South. With lush greenery and natural wonders everywhere you look, you’ll have to remember to focus on some of the other exciting attractions around you!

From Haifa’s spectacular Bahai Gardens, to Nazareth, the childhood home of Jesus, there’s a lot that the North offers. Whether you choose to bask in nature or take a tour of Christianity’s most sacred sites, you simply won't be able to miss one of nature’s most astounding gifts: the Sea of Galilee.

Serving up natural beauty surrounded by rolling hills, ancient ruins, and calm (and cool) waters, this freshwater lake (known locally as the “Kineret”) is a must-see on any tour of the North. We suggest complimenting your Northern adventure with our list of recommended hotels in the North
